So, we participated in "Best of Craft Beer Awards"
BCBA again this year, and guess what? WE WON A BRONZE MEDAL! For our Katabatic Scotch Ale. We won the medal in the Scottish Ale category. This was one of the four big national competitions. So I guess you could say we're proud!
We also recently drained the Willie's Distillery bourbon barrel that had our award winning Scotch ale in it. Then we blended that with a little fresh beer and what you have is a totally different complex taste bud explosion. It's rich in vanilla and toffee notes, with a heady bourbon aroma, but it's not like drinking a "Boiler maker". It's like sipping a fine wine. Except it's freakin' beer! Come try some, you will be glad I told you so.

Aroma- Citrusy, resinous, piney-character with a hint of toast.
